Are Bearpaw Boots made out of real Bear Paws?
You may well ask, but honestly Bearpaw Boots are not made out of real Bear Paws.
This fashionable boot, that looks similar to the Ugg boot, is actually made out of good old reliable sheepskin, although there are a few styles available which are made out of a knitted fabric and are proving very popular at the moment amongst the youth of today as they come in both a tall leg and the ankle boot, very handy for tucking your jeans into!
The Bearpaw Boot also boasts a durable rubber sole (which you won't find on any bear paw that I know of) which is thicker than the normal size you might get with this type of boot, like the Ugg. Having this thicker sole really helps to hold the boot's structure in shape and also aids in the prevention of the wearer's heel bulging out over the sole in turn avoiding making the boot look worn out and scruffy. The other advantage of the extra thick sole is the grip it provides in the worst of weather when all around you see people slipping and sliding on the ice, these boots will help you to stay upright!
Another feature of the Bearpaw Boot is the inner lining of soft wool which is soooo comfortable and warm, so warm in fact that some wearers don't even wear socks with their boots. With this particular style of boot you can also fold down the top of the boot to reveal the wool so you can get two styles out of one boot, a bonus for the more fashion conscious.
Now after convincing you that these boots are the warmest boot your feet can come into contact with in the icy cold winter months, don't let the snuggly lining put you off wearing your Bearpaw boots in the summer. The main fabric of sheepskin is a breathable fabric which helps to regulate body temperature all year round, yet another bonus of the Bearpaw boot when you can't bear to go out wearing anything else and to be honest, with the numerous styles and colours available to suit all the family…why should you.
Whilst the Bearpaw Boot is not made out of real Bear paws, they are however made in the United States and it's a misconception that the boots are made by the same manufacturers as the Ugg boot which themselves are mainly made in China with the exception of one or two styles which are made in New Zealand.
