Like me if you love Blues music and you want to learn blues guitar music, here is some of my technics and tips. I learned a lot with an online blues lesson. If you want to know where, I put a link to my blog at the end of this post.
When learning a new lick or exercise, set a speed goal. Keep practicing the lick/exercise until the speed goal has been reached. Realise that this can sometimes take weeks, months (or even years!) for guitar chords lessons.
Learn to enjoy using your self-discipline. Feel proud about yourself every time you follow through and master something.
Use visualization. See yourself in your mind's eye becoming a guitar virtuoso. This will help keep you motivated and enthusiastic!
Make a commitment to completion. With everything you learn, refuse to quit. Keep working on it until it has been mastered.
So…how can you stop yourself from becoming a victim:
1.Stop making excuses. I can guarantee that for every excuse you can make there is someone out there who has overcome that obstacle. Don't allow yourself to make excuses. They are the death of your musical dreams.
2. Watch your language. For example, rather than saying "I couldn't find the time" say "I am acting like a complete and absolute loser and if I continue acting like this I will NEVER achieve my musical goals". Because that statement is pretty painful to say, you'll soon stop making excuses!
3. Think of solutions. For excuses that you normally make, think of ways of overcoming those obstacles. For example, if you are constantly using your work as a reason why you can't practice.If you ask enough questions like this on a daily basis, you'll find a solution eventually.
4. Think of your "Why". These are the reasons why you want to achieve your musical goals. If your why is strong enough, You will NEVER want to stop practicing for any reason.
5. Think of your role models. Use your role models to motivate and inspire you to keep on practicing. Every time you start to make an excuse, ask yourself "Would B.B. King make this excuse?" For example, one of my favourite guitarists is B.B King. I could NEVER imagine making him excuses for not practicing!
To finish off here's a quote that you may want to memorize...
"You can either become a great guitarist and learning guitar, or you can make excuses, but you can't do both"!
Some good tips on strings:
When putting new strings on your guitar you must always make sure you stretch them as you tune them to pitch. I always hold them down on the neck around the 24th fret with my left hand while pulling them away from the guitar body with my right hand. You don't have to use too much muscle, a few firm tugs should do the trick.
Whenever you tune a string down in pitch, be sure to use the string stretching technique described above. Remember ALWAYS TUNE UP! It's always better when tuning down, to get close to the note, stretch the string and then tune up to the intended pitch.

why do my anchor blue jeans stretch out?
when i put them on they fit nicely but after a while they look huge on me
if they have a lot of stretch to them, this will happen. look on the tag to see the proportion of cotton to lycra (or whatever they use for the stretchy quality). anything more than 5% is too much i feel for jeans. try to keep it to 1-2% and wear jeans only 2 (three maybe if they do not stretch too much) times in a row. also wash them inside out to preserve color.
oh also: if they are thin, these will stretch out A LOT. i tried on a pair at pacsun, and although the price was enticing, after trying them on, i could tell they would give me "saggy butt". and i'm a size 0. good quality jeans are worth the price. i'm not saying you have to spend 100 bucks a pair, but anything 20 or less probably doesn't have the best material in it.
