I'm buying an aquarium. been recommended the following aquarium. Is it any good? What are good things or bad things about it. Also what else would I need to purchase in terms of equipment. (heater, light, filter: if they arent any good)

Juwel aquariums are highly regarded in the UK, due to their quality. I've had several of these aquariums and they've all been flawless for the price. Normally none of the standard equipment (i.e filter, heater) needs to be replaced however some people do choose to remove the hood and fit an 'overtank luminaire' to boost the lighting, this is primarily done on saltwater or high-tec planted tanks however.
In terms of extras you will need to purchase a liquid test kit, digital thermometer, dechlorinator, food, gravel siphon, decor, two buckets, algae scraper and a net. A spare heater and a small air-pump would also be useful.
