10 Prom Dresses That Make Your Waist A Focal Point
The prom night is truly one of the most unforgettable nights for a young girl. In fact it is even considered as one of the biggest nights a teenager could ever have. This is probably the reason why most girls dream of this big night ever since they were kids. Preparing for the prom night is indeed a very huge preparation for a young girl. After all, she certainly has to look her best on this special event.
One of the biggest fusses of proms is finding the perfect dress. There are definitely a lot of gorgeous dresses that somehow choosing becomes a little difficult. Fortunately, most teenage girls are enjoying slender waists during their high school, such that finding the perfect dress that would accentuate their slim waists is not a problem at all.
While there are different body types, women who are naturally gifted with slim waists should wear dresses that will make their waists the focal point. Correspondingly, there are also prom dresses that accentuate the waist. Here are some of these dresses that make the waist a focal point.
1. Empire waist prom dress. This style is body hugging with the upper part accentuating the bust line and making the best out of the bust while the skirt drops at the bottom of the bust, elongating the torso and giving attention to the waist. This design will not only make the bust look fuller but the body slimmer as well.
2. Medieval inspired. Although most prom dresses nowadays show off more flesh, medieval inspired gowns retain the detailed sleeves and double layered tunics. While this design may seem a little bit on the conservative side, it certainly makes the waist the focal point of attention.
3. Storybook princess design. These designs make the body slimmer, the busts fuller, and the waist smaller.
4. Top it off. Top it off designs for prom dresses enhances the bust and the waist. However, the right bra is very important in these types of dresses since the design accentuates the busts as well, thus you need to make sure that you choose the bra that offers the best support.
5. Belt-accentuated. There is probably no better way to make the waist the focal point than wearing a belt right on the waist. There are a lot of amazing designs of prom dresses with matching colored belts.
6. High waisted skirt. This design will definitely flaunt a slim waist. After all, by getting a prom dress with a high waisted skirt, a slim waist will certainly steal the attention away.
7. Big wide belts. In contrast to small belts that also gives emphasis to the waist, big wide belts that hug the waist absolutely focuses the attention the waist. The wider and more stretchy the belt is, the better.
