Store owner, and no. Advertising online (especially with my store, since the inventory is always changing depending on what people bring in) isn't worth the cost. I have a storefront, and advertising locally to bring customers into my store is where my advertising budget is focused. eBay is the marketplace that I use to move the items brought to me. As large as eBay is, there's no need to advertise separate of the eBay fees for the store features.
Google grabs eBay information, and displays my items in a normal Google web search, my items show up in Google shopping, and yahoo recommends shopping on eBay for certain items I am selling when a user searches for something I have. Advertising outside of search engines (which we already do on top of normal web search results) is part of our budget, and Google does that for us.
