Facts About Rare Items In Runescape

Do you know there are plenty of incredibly rare items in runescape . I'll tell you about some of them and how you can get them for your self. Before I begin and get you all excited, it is best to know that from now on, holiday drops (Some of which are extremely rare) are no longer tradeable.

Yes it's sad but true. Personally I don't know why Jagex did this, but I'm sure they've their reasons.

I suppose the holiday drops and rare items show how long that someone has been playing, so it is possible to show them off as an achievement. Or perhaps they do not like the reality that some men and women (Smart people today) will hoard loads of holiday drops for themselves, purchasing them from anyone else that has them, or starting bogus accounts and collecting holiday drops, then when the holiday drop event is over and it's not longer feasible to get them, the hoarder would charge a TON of funds for every 1. Since they're no longer out there, folks will pay massive money for them.

Personally I do not feel that it's a horrible thing, but it does present people today with an chance to collect large ammounts of gold and sell it on ebay for instance, that's a bad thing as it's against the rules and encourages individuals to use auto miners etc to gain gold.

Okay, now that we've established a bit of background data on the rare items in runescape, it's time to get down to the specifics of a few of the extra popular holiday drops.

The most commonly talked about runescape rare item is the party hat, occasionally referred to as phats for short. They come is 6 distinctive colours, red, yellow, blue, green, white and purple. Pretty bad graphics by it's one of the rare items in runescape and presumably it's value will continuously increase.

An additional rare item is the santa hat. This was a christmas holiday drop in 2002. Again, rather rare and extremely priced. Not sure about how much it costs compared with the party hats.

And finally, the last tradeable runescape rare item holiday drop that I'm going to talk about, is the halloween masks. As far as I know there had been only 3 colours and other than that, they looked exactly the exact same. It could have been picked up on halloween 2002.

In 2003 and beyond, holiday drops had been made to be no longer tradeable, and will never be tradeable for the forseeable future. So if you want holiday drops you'll have to either shell out massive sums of dollars for the old ones that are tradeable, or wait until the next holiday event to have the ability to get your own, for totally free of course :) I hope that has helped you gain a bit of insight into the world of rare items and holiday drops in runescape. I also hope to teach you much a lot more in the future, such as the best way to get a ton of money in runescape.

Extremely rare Takahe bird found dead on road - what to do now?

As I was driving along the highway from Milton to Lawrence, Otago, I spotted a dead bird on the side of the highway, stopped, and took a look. At home, I checked it out on the web, and it turns out to be a Takahe, a New Zealand bird so rare its existence is considered by some to be questionable.
What should I do?
Go back, pick it up, and take it to the police?

No the police don't care about the bird. Contact your local fish and wildlife or the equivalent and report the find to them. If they are unable to respond quickly they may request you bag the bird to preserve it will quickly be eaten by scavengers. Unless told to do so by fish and wildlife do not take possession of the bird as if the species is endangered it is likely very illegal to have any part of it in your possession (I know it is in the US)
