Pex pipe nowadays is preferred by most of the homebuilders for their plumbing systems in their homes. how much does it approximately cost to fix houses stripped of copper?
I am looking to buy my first house. Not infrequently I see that it says they've been stripped of copper. As they look (at least on the internet) otherwise perfectly nice houses I wonder how much I would additional cost that would add to a house I otherwise like.
Generally I am prepared to spend some time and money on fixing a house, the total amount just has to be within the limit I am willing to spend. So far I've been avoiding looking at houses which have been stripped of copper, but I wonder if I should.
Look into pex piping, we run it at work and its pretty cheap. Where they get you is on the fittings but you don't need 90s since you can bend the pipe to whatever you want. A word of advice don't skimp and get the uponor brand you will have to rent the gun but its very fast.
