Brother CS6000i - An Amazing Product Review
I have look at plenty of Brother CS6000i critical reviews while I wanted a sewing machine and it matched up with my needs initially. I was looking for a computerized sewing machine who was very affordable and light-weight so I could certainly carry it along with me everytime I travelled. Furthermore, I needed several stitches to work with. But of course, there was clearly alot more to it than that.
The purchase of a machine, particularly for first-timers, could very well be really difficult. For that reason I would like to help you come up with a final choice with your sewing machine purchase therefore it goes so much easier when compared with it did for me personally.
The Price Fulfils.
First of all this one fell into my budget. I most likely would not have looked at it if it had not been. When I looked closer at the Brother CS6000i sewing machine I saw that it included almost every addition and foot I would most likely need.
What's The ugly news?
If you are looking make use of the quilting table, it is a very good accessory for this unit. There is only one problem with it though; not a thing maintains the legs from folding up. While you sew, the legs gradually move and eventually they end up folded. I came across when checking out other Brother CS6000i reviews, they said "the quilting foot comes with a walking foot, so I am ready to speed up, and with even more perfection."
So what's the final decision?
There are some very minor issues with the Brother CS6000i, for example using the quilting accessory. Quite a few users criticize about the digital readout not to be well lit enough, nevertheless I'm not sewing without sufficient light anyways therefore it is not an issue to me. Regardless of these complaints, this is a good sewing machine. I bought this to replace my outdated Kenmore (which replaced my ancient Janome). This particular machine grown to be a lot silent and lighter compared to elderly ones too, due to the fact portability was actually imperative to me.
The value makes the whole decision far easier too.

Sewing a zipper with a Kenmore Mini Ultra?
My Kenmore mini ultra didn't come with a zipper foot. I read that it's not supposed to, but that there is a way to do it? I lost my manual. Can anyone tell me how??
You should be able to get a generic zipper foot to fit it... the machine is made by Janome, fwiw. Take the standard foot to any decent fabric store or a sewing machine shop and let them match you up with a zipper foot.
You've probably got a "low shank" or "snap-on" foot: http://www.clotilde.com/pages/which_foot.html and a generic zipper foot should be about $5-10.
Sears should be able to get you a replacement manual, too.
