Is the geniune CD from stores you buy is the best quality you could ever get?
say a Geniune CD of the Wreckers, that i bought from BestBuy, is it the best quality of sound i could get out of from the singer other than live, certainly no matter how good or close the mp3 is, it's never gonna get to the point of a geniune cd quality, so would the quality of sound decreases if you copy another CD from the Geniune music CD?
That is up for debate. some people prefer Vinyl LPs. when in perfect condition, they can sound better than a cd, especially at really, really low and really, really high volumes. but is is hard to keep records in that condition, and most aren't. records are also said to have warmer tone than digital music (cds are in fact digital music--the sound is recorded in binary) CDs will be of better quality after more casual treatment.
CDs are hands down superior to MP3's WMA's WAV's and whatever apple calls their propietary filing system. The best files are generally Lossless WMA's or WAV's. Lossless recording is said to have CD quality, but then again, they are considerably larger, for instance a lossless file for a 4:15 minute sontg is 43.00mb versus 5.88mb for an audio file in 192kbps. Also, lossless files are usually ripped from CD's.
CD's are also better because they last longer. they do not warp like vinyl can, and with the exception of SonyBMG CD's, there generally isn't any restriction on what you do with the CD one you own it, whereas with all subscription music services and some pay-per-song systems, there are limits on what you can do with the music. In the case of SonyBMG CD's, there is the issue of them putting malware on some of their albums to prevent people from ripping the songs to Windows Media Player. However, after coming under considerable pressure, and given the fact that I can not imagine any sane human being listening to any of the CD's known to have been encoded with Malware, this isn't much of a problem.
