You can use mylar tape (hotfix tape, rhinestones transfer tape, acrylic tape, silicon tape, etc....) with the non-hoffix or flatback rhinestones. After the rhinestones are on the tape, you apply a dab of glue on each stone and apply to any flat surface. If you had hotfix, you would apply heat to melt the glue on the back of each rhinestone so you would not have to apply the glue (of course).
