I wanna change it out for a hard drive with data already on it and put the blank one inside my computer. I realize that it will void the warranty, but I got the drive for 50 bucks...I'll live. Will this work, or will I ruin either drive (or both)?
While I'm at it, how do I find out how much free space I've got left on the drive? since it comes up as a network share, I don't see an actual drive icon to check the properties on.
