Is there a knitting pattern for a dress that does not require circular needles or a crochet hook?
I want to try and knit a dress but all of the patterns that I've found call for circular needles which I have never used or require crochet skills as well. I just knit with regular needles. Are there any patterns for dresses just using two needles?
Circulars are best for dress patterns. Get one. They really aren't hard to use at all. I got used to mine in a few minutes.
Is the crocheting mostly for edge work? If so, ask a crocheter to edge it for you or just leave the edging off. Pick up the stitches and do a 2x2 rib for 3 or 4 rows. It won't be as pretty as a crocheted edge, but it will work.
