Will fabric glue work on lace and ribbon?
I am trying to sew a length of ribbon to some stretch lace and the stitches look awful. It makes the ribbon look all squigly and I would like for it to be smooth. Would fabric glue work to hold the two pieces together, and if not, what can I use? Thanks
You're trying to sew something that will stretch (the lace) to something that won't. One or the other item will always look "off". Ditto using glue. Drop the ribbon or find some stable lace meant to be used with ribbon, like beading.
