What exactly is Doom Metal?
Another metal genre in the family is called Doom Metal. Genres are always classified in the development, instruments and style of music. Following the guitar tuning, speed and the amounts of distortion will help you figure out what doom metal is. Their vocals and song connotations are usually about misery, death and fear.
Doom Metal Vocals
Doom metal has more of a cleaner feel of vocals. Load screams usually are not rare in doom metal. These are incorporate in many doom metal bands. Great examples of this form of singing are Ozzy Osbourne and Bobby Lebling. With that being said, you may always find another way to alter your style. Growls are also a part of doom metal music.
Like any other kind of music, doom metal songs are about something that has influenced them in everyday life. Some of the popular emotions they write about will include depression, fear, sorrow, death and anger. There are other aspets that doom metal musicians take. There has been tons of songs that have included symbolism, inspiration from literature and religion.
Elements of Instruments
Like the majority of musical bands, the structure with the band is about the same.. The band will include bass guitar, electric guitars and drums. You can find keyboards mixed or incorporated in doom metal. The guitars and bass guitars will have a very low tuned guitar with high amounts of distortion. The high bass and low notes would give them more distortion sound. The sound of the bass guitar would be really low and heavy. The drum kits could have double bass options. This could provide the drummer the ability to add more bass and distortion the their music.
Sub Genres
Doom metal music has different sub genres of metal music. All of them have their own way of expressing their music. Listed are a couple of the more common doom metal music sub genres.

how do i get my cars paint all the way down to metal?
own a 1990 240sx..its a project car so dont tell me to go to a bod y shop 
. I want to learn these things. I want it all the way down to the metal..what grit should I start at? and what grit should i graduate to? ..when do I know when to switch grits?
is it okay to apply bondo on bare metal?
If you have a compressor and a DA sander, start with 80 grit pads and stay with them until you're down to metal. Air tools move so fast that you can literally finish a sanding job with 120 grit and shoot the primer. If you don't have a compressor and air tools, then I would say use 40 or 60 grit to eat thru the paint and primer. Use a "crosshatch" pattern in your sanding with a block. In other words make a series of big X's, never follow the contours of the body. Just use the 40 or 60 until you get down to bare metal. This crosshatch pattern is not too important at this stage, but it is when you do the bodywork and go to shoot primer and fog coats of paint. So practice it now and get the "feel" for the lines of the car. And it's perfectly fine, and even better, to apply bondo to bare metal. Any scratches you see in the metal from the rough grit will be covered by the primer coats and wetsanding. But that's a completely different animal...are you planning on shooting the job yourself? If you're really serious about this job and doing it yourself, a very competent compressor is the 5hp 33gal Craftsman from Sears and these still go for $300. It'll keep up with a DA for about 5 minutes, (plenty enough time for you to do work and then stop to survey and inspect), and it will keep up with an HVLP gun. You'll get better results and MUCH quicker. I still have my craftsman hooked up in a series with my big compressor. You can pick up a DA sander pretty cheap, less than 80 bucks for a quality one. The finish gun is where you will spend the cash on, but you can pick up a competent primer gun pretty cheap, you might not want to shoot the color yourself anyway.
