Singer Confidence 7467 Sewing Machine Review
The Singer 7467 Confidence sewing machine has some pretty intriguing features, a nice selection of stitches and an intuitive control panel that is easy to learn and operate. Even with all the built-in automation and features it is still available at a reasonable price.
The Confidence line operate as if they were designed to grow with a beginner sewer with lots of pre-set settings that are also adjustable, which is helpful as one's experience grows.
Singer 7467 Confidence Stitch Patterns
There are 70 built-in stitches and stitch width and length are adjustable to 7mm. These stitches cover everything from utility stitches for basic sewing (straight, zigzag, blind hem, overcasting and a selection of stretch stitches) to decorative sewing and quilting (satin stitches, Greek Key, a floral pattern, banner stitch, honeycomb, kite tail, criss cross, and more). There are three styles of one-step buttonholes including two bartack buttonholes and one keyhole style.
Six of the most used stitches have a quick access button to eliminate the need to scroll to the right pattern on the LCD screen.

Included are five, snap-on presser feet which can be adjusted to three height levels allowing the machine to handle thick fabrics and multiple layers:

Brother 7467 Confidence Sewing Machine Features
Many of the most frustrating steps involved in setting up your machine to sew have been automated in this machine. The drop-in bobbin system takes care of drawing up the threads so you don't have to do it yourself and the reverse sewing button is conveniently located right near the needle so you can hit reverse without having to take your hands off of your material.
Other features include an automatic needle threader, a see through bobbin cover, 13 needle positions, a drop feed dog lever, and horizontal top thread delivery for smoother thread flow. An LED work light provides bright lighting over your workspace. The heavy-duty, metal frame keeps the sewing machine in place while you work - it doesn't jump or skip during operation. The extension table provides accessory storage and removes so that you can perform free-arm sewing - necessary when working on circular hems for cuffs or pant legs.
The Singer 7467 Confidence sewing machine provides nice, professional looking stitches and runs quietly enough that you can work while in the same room as the rest of your family without causing a major disturbance.

Can any sewing machine use a zipper foot?
I would like to use a zipper foot with the Tiny Taylor Singer sewing machine but do not know if one is made for it or if I can get another brand.
This is my first time ever using a sewing machine and I want to try sewing a zipper onto some fabric.
Can you return your Tiny Tailor and get a real sewing machine? They're about as frustrating as it comes, and I hate to see newcomers to sewing reduced to tears by a malfunctioning machine. And no, I don't know if there's a zipper foot for it.
Can you borrow a machine from someone? Even an old straight-stitch only machine will do nicely -- if they've lost the zipper foot, you can pick up a generic zipper foot in most fabric stores for a few bucks. No, you do not need a needle that moves right or left to install a zipper.
