I'm not sure what your location or your profession is but I would invest in some great pencil skirts and sleeveless blouses. I personally love J. Crew (the outlet, as the regular store can be super pricey) for sale items and great long lasting pieces in both bold and go-to colors. Ann Taylor, Express and the Limited also have great summer options. Of course you can always opt to wear pants, but they can be so hot in the summer unless you're in a super frigid office building. I always keep a black blazer in my car or a cute matching cardigan in case I find myself in a cold building or more formal setting. The key is to look cool, both in style and temperature, and polished. I put links to some cute items from each store, but you can find similar alternatives at lower priced stores.
My go to outfit would be a cute pencil skirt in a bright color or pattern with a basic black short sleeved button down, tucked in, and black pumps.
