My partner is getting a sewing machine from her parents for Christmas - designing clothes and handbags has long been a hobby of hers, and she'd now like to start making them.
I've already got her main present and a couple of extras (that I won't go into in case she sees this!) and just thought I'd ask all you tailors and designers out there what else I can get her to go with the sewing machine?
My Grandad was a tailor and I remember my Mother inheriting all manor of shears and contraptions from him, I was just wondering, other than a sewing machine, what would be the 5 most important 'tools of the trade?'

4. my fishing tiered fishing tackle box for carrying my supplies (same one from college)
