Can you cook in a scratched Teflon pan?
I was cooking chicken peices that I forgot to shred before I dumped in the pan w/oil. I cut them up with a spoon edge and made all kinds of slit marks on the Teflon which feels raised.
Is it still okay to cook and eat from this pan? What harm can it do?
No real harm can be done. It will be fine.
If it's really badly scratched it might effect how hot the pans gets but that's really it.
