Eyebrow Threading Tips: How-To and Maintenance
With their natural instincts to desire for themselves to look better, more beautiful and eye-catching to around them, women largely feel the need to apply health beauty tips all over their bodies. Eyebrow threading is just one of their frequent beauty ritual needs. The Eyebrow threading method is the practice of shaping the eyebrows. The technique once originated from the ancient practices of the Middle and Far East and is widely popular among women from urban areas. Eyebrow threading is the popular method nowadays for hair removal. Threading neatly and gently removes those unwanted hair all together, unlike using thin razors or tweezers.
The method is practically cheap and inexpensive. A thin strand of cotton thread is only needed and then all that excess hair would be gone. It's just twisting two strands of cotton thread and guide them through the hair lines you want to remove. What more is that threading removes the hair from its follicle giving it a longer amount of time for the hair to grow back. Threading is assured to be the safest method since has rare risks of skin irritation or rashes just like other methods wherein wax or creams with much chemicals are used.
Thus if you are desperate to manage your own skin especially your bushy eyebrows, then the following tips will guide you in removing all the excess hair in your eyebrows giving them the exact shape you would want to project your face with. What you will need for this procedure are the following: a spool of cotton thread, an eyebrow trimming scissors, a hand mirror and an eyebrow brush or comb. First you must tie both ends of the cotton thread in a form of a loop. Tighten the loop and wind it round your fingers, about ten times. Form the loop into a rectangle. Apply a small amount of hair-spray on your eyebrows. Be careful not to let the hair-spray get into your eyes. Wash them quickyl if in case it irritates your eyes. Now, use a small comb or brush and brush it over your eyebrows to keep them in place. Gently draw the loop of thread on your brows and roll it along the skin's surface, thus getting hold of the excess hair. Pull the thread to remove the excess hair but be careful not to trim too much of the outer corners of your brows else you might go about with the "angry" look.
With your eyebrows finally done and put into shape, those with thinner or sparse eyebrows or if ina case you happen to over tweeze must use eyebrow pencils to fill the bare areas with gentle quick strokes and in order to give your brows a thicker, flashy effect. Always be careful with the shade you use to match your skin and hair. Women who have lighter hair shades are advised to use blondish colors while for those with brunette hair must use tanned or darker shades of pencils.
Thus, threading indeed can help you become stunningly presentable to your friends and other associates. Furthermore, you get avoid tweezing that can cause skin irritation plus you get to spend really less to get that beautiful shape for your eyebrows.

what crafts can you do with old spools that used to hold thread?
I used to use mine to make robots. Paint them silver & make a body, arms, legs, & head out of different size ones. You can even run yarn or string through them so the parts can move.
1 medium for head - paint silver & paint face on it
2 large stacked for body - paint silver & decorate with painted or stickers of knobs & such
For arms, use one medium, one small, & one tiny, if you can find it -- paint all silver
For legs do the same as arms but use 2 smalls & point the tiny ones forward using the yarn to hold it in place.
